The Goldsmiths’ Centre Events Executive

1 Year Fixed Term Contract (potential to extend), Part- Time, 3 days per week  
Salary £27,000 pro rata subject to experience

Are you passionate about delivering high-quality events, both large and small? The Goldsmiths’ Centre – dedicated to helping the jewellery and silversmithing industry embrace lifelong learning – is seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated Events Executive to support the organisation and delivery of our events.

A stone’s throw from Farringdon station, our award-winning design combines a restored Grade II listed Victorian school with a striking contemporary building. As part of the Unique Venues of London consortium, it offers a stunning setting for exhibitions, conferences, product launches, photo shoots, private dining, screenings, receptions, rooftop events and business meetings.

We are looking for a proactive Events Executive to join our events team on a fixed term contract, supporting the full lifecycle of our events – from initial enquiry through to post-event follow-up. Ideally, you will be studying an event management or related degree, or bring experience from working in an events venue. You will excel in customer service, demonstrate strong organisation skills, have a keen eye for detail, communicate effectively and work flexibly. Level-headed and responsible, you will play an integral part in the delivery of our commercial events business.
