News: New industry expert panel offers advice to emerging jewellery businesses to gain traction and grow

On 27th June 2023, the Goldsmiths’ Centre in London will run its first new monthly ‘Business Diagnostic and Advice’ sessions, which are now open for bookings, in support of UK-based emerging jewellery and silversmithing businesses. Hosted online, the high-profile expert panel, jewellery consultant Liz Olver, Head of UK for the Natural Diamond Council Lisa Levinson and fine jeweller Ellis Mhairi Cameron will spend time with business owners reviewing their products, brand, and creative ideas to develop a personalised action plan.

Liz, Lisa and Ellis will use information gathered from a pre-session questionnaire to help understand each business’s strengths and weaknesses, potential opportunities and priorities and determine future training or coaching needs. During the one-hour online conversation emerging jewellery and silversmithing businesses will explore how to overcome business challenges and gain traction without wasting precious time or resources. Within two weeks of the session, participants will receive a short report and a recording of the Diagnostic session outlining the key areas and advice discussed with industry experts.

Liz Olver, an experienced jewellery professional with a history of working in the luxury jewellery industry, explains:

“Receiving impartial advice and support is invaluable at any stage to help you move your jewellery business forward. I can’t wait to spend time with emerging businesses to help them explore what they are doing right, what they can improve on, and work with the industry expert panel to recommend clear next steps to grow their businesses.”

– Liz Olver
