The Goldsmiths' Centre Launches Educational Partnership with Weston Beamor
Today the Goldsmiths’ Centre in London launched a new educational partnership with major UK jewellery manufacturer, Weston Beamor, offering emerging creative businesses on the Centre’s Setting Out programme a greater insight into manufacturing processes to help them grow their businesses.
Senior staff from Weston Beamor will be helping to support emerging jewellery and silversmithing businesses taking part in the Goldsmiths’ Centre’s year-long business incubation programme, Setting Out. Through both site visits and virtual mentoring, the aim is to grow the participants’ understanding of manufacturing processes as they develop their new collections and help them to develop their supply chains.
“Weston Beamor are one of the most respected and trusted names in the UK jewellery industry. By working together, we firmly believe that those participating in the Goldsmiths’ Centre’s Setting Out course will get greatly benefit from a deeper understanding of the manufacturing process, helping them to scale up their businesses.”
– Peter Taylor, Director of the Goldsmiths' Centre
