Step into the brilliant world of Shine 2026, the Goldsmiths’ Centre’s annual new talent showcase of jewellery and silversmithing, presented in our Atrium space. This year, thirteen emerging UK designer-makers are set to dazzle you with cutting-edge collections, each exploring powerful ideas – from feather-like forms and the challenge of material perfection to the ancient objects and rituals of Egyptian mummification.
Having impressed our selection panel with their originality, skill and potential, Amber Cooper, Annie Higgins, Beth Chesser, Ella Bonomi, Epona Smith, Helen Dugdale, Helena Palmeira, Jade Mellor, Liu Yang, Mark Eames, Matilde Mozzanega, Militsa Milenkova and Rachael Plassard are now honing their skills to present, sell and showcase their work through our free business training programme. From recent graduates to creatives embarking on second careers, they are all at the early stages of their professional journeys. Together, they reflect the breadth and diversity of emerging creative talent across the UK.

Shine is our annual new talent showcase, celebrating the most exciting emerging jewellers and silversmiths from across the UK. It highlights fresh collections, hand-picked for their creativity, craftsmanship and potential – offering a first look at the next generation of standout talent.
If you're a designer or maker looking to take the next step in your career, Shine offers a unique opportunity to showcase your work to new audiences. Through an Open Call each year, we select participants based on the strength of their collection – including quality, coherence, pricing, and presentation. Selected makers receive dedicated support through our free part-time skills training programme, designed by the Goldsmiths’ Centre to get you market-ready and confident in presenting your work both online and in person.
