Interwoven: Jewellery Meets Textiles is a Goldsmiths’ Centre exhibition exploring the creative connections between contemporary jewellery and textiles. After its premiere at the Goldsmiths’ Centre in spring 2025, the exhibition returns as part of Goldsmiths’ Fair, the UK’s leading showcase for the finest jewellery and silversmithing hosted annually at Goldsmiths’ Hall. Displayed on the second floor in the Exhibition Room, the exhibition invites you to explore how jewellers are reimagining textile techniques, materials, and aesthetics through their work.
Featuring over thirty acclaimed makers - including Flora Bhattachary, Eleanor Bolton, Elizabeth Bone, Caroline Broadhead, Megan Brown, Susan Cross, Alison Evans, Nora Fok, Ruth Leslie, Jacqueline Mina, and many others - the exhibition brings together jewellery on loan from practising artists, the Goldsmiths’ Company collection, and the Crafts Council collection. The works will be shown in dialogue with textiles, highlighting their shared structures, forms, and visual languages.
This unique display offers fresh insight into the evolving relationship between jewellery and textiles, and is a must-see for craftspeople, artists, enthusiasts, and all those curious about the beauty that emerges when two disciplines intertwine.
