Japanese born artist and metalworker, Junko Mori, tells her story as part of the podcast series ‘Material Matters with Grant Gibson’ about her relationship with ’Metal’, which has changed her life and career.

Inspired by nature and cell division, Junko’s hand-forged metal sculptures can be seen in major collections across the UK and internationally. In this interview, she describes her early education and journey from Japan, to her studies at Camberwell College of Arts in London and later relocation to Wales, which has given her the space and time to hone her craft in her rural metal-working shed.
