Jewellery journalist and editorial director of The Jewellery Cut, Rachael Taylor, is joined in conversation by award-winning jewellers-to-the-stars, brothers Bobby and Tommy White.

Catapulted to stardom through Channel 4’s documentary ‘The Million Pound Jewellers’ in 2016, Bobby and Tommy White have built a global jewellery brand with a star-studded client list to match.   

Join Rachael Taylor for this intimate evening of conversation as she puts the spotlight on the brothers and their story to global success – from how Bobby started his career aged 16 in Hatton Garden to building their jewellery brand, creating diamond-encrusted grenades and rockets full of gemstones for style icons such as Prince and Beyoncé.

Part of the Creative Links talks series, learn the secret of Bobby White London’s success and the source of the brothers’ inspiration, and get an insight into their experiences filming for TV, what the future holds for their brand and their thoughts the burning issues in the jewellery industry today.

Who are the speakers?

Bobby White is a stand out British jewellery designer who after having studied fine jewellery at London’s Guildhall went on to complete an apprenticeship in London’s Hatton Garden. He is one of the few master-craftsmen on London’s fashion scene, creating complex and dramatic designs made specifically to order. From the age of 21, Bobby has built a family-run jewellery brand that designs and makes pieces for a roster of international stars, including Prince, Jay-Z, Beyoncé and Rihanna.  

Tommy White is the co-founder of fine jewellery brand, Bobby White London, bringing his drive and business expertise to build a successful family brand and grow its star-studded customer base. 

Rachael Taylor launched Professional Jeweller and WatchPro in her early career, and is the co-founder and editorial director of The Jewellery Cut, which will launch this summer. She is also a freelance jewellery writer and a regular contributor to a number of titles including The Financial Times, Luxury London, JFW, VO+, Retail Jeweller, Rapaport and Platinum Resident. She is also an ambassador for the Women’s Jewellery Network.
