Do you like the idea of working with silver, gold and gemstones? Are you happiest when drawing and making new things? Discover what it is like to work as a jeweller or silversmith and how you can get started in this unique career.

Discover what it is like to start a jewellery career and get a behind the scenes tour of the Goldsmiths' Centre's training workshops to see where beautiful jewellery and silversmithing pieces are designed and made. You will even get to meet some of the tutors who teach young people on the prestigious Foundation Programme and get to try your own hand at designing with jewellery designer Clio Saskia

This event is part of the London Careers Festival programmed by the Goldsmiths’ Centre, the UK’s leading charity for the professional training of goldsmiths, in London. 

If you are: 

  • a student attending unaccompanied, then please book 1 student ticket.
  • a teacher or booking on behalf of a teacher accompanied by a group of pupils, please book 1 TEACHER TICKET PER TEACHER and indicate on the booking form how many pupils will be joining.

About the London Careers Festival

The London Careers Festival is a free annual summer event which seeks to connect pupils from primary to post-16 with the world of work, fuelling imaginations, developing skills, and inspiring futures. This year’s London Careers Festival 2022 will take place over two weeks, with a virtual festival from June 20-24 and an in-person event at the Guildhall from June 27 – July 1.
