Goldsmiths’ Craft & Design Council Award Winners
We look back on the winners of the annual Goldsmiths’ Craft & Design Council Awards which took place at Goldsmiths’ Hall in London on Monday 26th February 2018.
The prestigious “Jewellery Oscars” was hosted by Theo Fennell and saw 300 people in attendance, including world-renowned jewellery houses, notable sponsors, industry associations, leading designers and the UK jewellery press.
We at the Goldsmiths’ Centre were proud to attend an event that rewards excellence in technical skills and creative design in precious metals and related materials, and happy to see so many young people and emerging makers who we have supported through the years be recognised for their talent and contribution to the industry.
During this prestigious event, over 30 craftspeople who have trained or have tutored at the Goldsmiths’ Centre were awarded, including two of our current Foundation Programme Students and alumni, our short course tutors, Apprentices, Getting Started and Setting Out participants and Gold Members.
