Student Internship Graduate Award

As the next generation of artist silversmiths, train alongside one of the country’s leading silversmiths and gain the skills to take your craft to the next level.

What is the Studio Internship Graduate Award?

The Studio Internship Graduate Award (SIGA) facilitates the tradition of Master craftspeople passing on their skills to young makers.

As a recent graduate, the award offers you the opportunity to train with some of the country’s leading silversmiths. Together with business training and promotional opportunities, SIGA is designed to have a big impact on your future work and business, enabling you to develop new skills and connections.

“I learnt a huge amount every day. The most satisfying part has been overcoming gaps and weaknesses in my skill set and seeking my skills grow in such a short time - Errin Quinn mentored by silversmiths Clive Burr and Ray Walton”

When does the internship start and how do I apply?

In 2018, SIGA is taking a break for further research and development, so please watch this space next year for an announcement on the future programme. Sign up to our e-newsletter below to be kept informed.
