3 days a week, minimum 4 months
The Goldsmiths’ Centre is the leading charity for the professional training of goldsmiths in the heart of Clerkenwell. As a Communications Volunteer, you will support the team in engaging with The Goldsmiths’ Centre’s students, tenants as well as the wider trade, design community and the public through effective communications.
You will get an insight into all aspects of marketing, PR and communications and how this underpins activities across the team. Activities could include developing engaging social media content, sending images to journalists, writing copy for e-newsletters, taking photographs of activities happening in the building, researching new contacts for The Goldsmiths’ Centre database system or interviewing students or members of staff about their work. You will also get the chance to work with other team members on an ad hoc basis to find out more about what it is like to work in events, exhibitions or professional training.
